Cody is the son of the founders of Lovejoy Opticians, Doug and Kay Freeman. He Graduated from the Evergreen State College in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Business and an emphasis in Ethics. He learned the optical trade from his parents and has been at Lovejoy Opticians for over 6 years. With the Retirement of Doug, Cody is now the full-time operations manager of Lovejoy Opticians.
Cody is certified through the National Board of Opticianry.

Kay is one of the original founders of Lovejoy Opticians, and is the mother of Cody. Kay has over 40 years of experience in the optical industry and has worked for wholesale labs and once was the co-owner of Seeing is Believing on NW 23rd Ave. Kay now works at Lovejoy Opticians part-time and is available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10:30am and 4:00pm.
